BookExpo America (commonly referred to within the book publishing industry as BEA) is North America’s largest annual gathering of book-trade professionals.   Nearly all significant book publishers in the United States, and many from abroad, have booths and exhibits at BEA and use this book trade fair as an opportunityto showcase upcoming titles, sell current books, socialize and do business with colleagues from other publishing houses, etc.  BEA 2010 was held in New York City, as it will be in 2011.
